Innovation Ecosystem: Palestine in Statu Innovandi

In Education and Labor Market Demands, Innovation Drivers for Countries, International Development, Israel-Palestine: What’s Next?, Transforming the Global Economy

I co-authored a short article about the key elements of an innovation ecosystem. In this article we pose the question of how innovative capacity can be fostered in and for Palestine. The article was accepted and published at the 7th International Scientific Conference “Business and Management 2012”, Vilnius, Lithuania.

Here is the link to the article.

Is the proposed model useful? Does it apply to your country? What element would you emphasize more if you had to design an economic and education policy with a strong innovative focus?

Cheers,

Sami

Développement: vous avez dit autonomie?

In International Development, Leading with Questions

In this succinct article (in French) published by the Belgian magazine n’GO, I explore the challenges of successful teams in the context of international development. When power differences are present and strong, one needs to be aware of them, dance with them, and engage everyone to dance with these challenges. Finding personal autonomy is a consequence and a prerequisite for any development!

Enjoy the article! I am looking forward to reading your views on it.

If anyone is interested to translate it into English, and has the time for it (unlike me), go for it and let me know!
